In August 2016 Rockspring Hanover Property Unit Trust ('Rockspring') submitted an outline planning application for the erection of up to 874 dwellings; a 66-bed care home; a one-form entry primary school; a new local centre including a Class A1 convenience store (up to 420m2), a 5-unit parade of small retail units (up to 400m2), Class D1 uses (up to 750m2); onsite open space, including areas for both public access and biodiversity enhancements, together with associated highway, drainage and infrastructure works on land at Rudgate Village, Wetherby to Leeds City Council.
Rockspring subsequently appealed against Leeds City Council’s failure to determine the application.
Through the process of the Appeal and the submission of detailed evidence in support of the Appellant’s case, Rockspring have chosen to submit additional information, made up of Addendums to the Environmental Statement and the Design and Access Statement, together a revised Illustrative Masterplan.
